Tabletop Airbus A320 MCDU
MCDU (Multipurpose Control and Display Unit) is an acronym used in the aviation industry to refer to a multipurpose control and display unit. This is a user interface found in the flight deck of modern commercial aircraft, especially large aircraft such as commercial passenger jets.
The MCDU is used to input data and commands into the aircraft’s flight management system. Pilots use the MCDU to enter essential flight information such as flight path data, speeds, altitudes, performance settings, and other settings necessary for the operation of the aircraft. In addition, it also provides relevant flight information such as navigation data, aircraft systems, and warning messages.
The MCDU is usually part of advanced avionics system, such as the Flight Management System (FMS), which allows for more precise and automated navigation during flight.
SMD components
The Airbus A320 MCDU is composed of an ATMEL 2560 processor, the same one used by the Arduino MEGA, and is fully compatible with it.
Together with the PCB, all the necessary documentation for its configuration is delivered, with the detailed list of connections of all the pushbuttons to the ATMEL 2560. The configuration files of the processor Firmware and setup in MobiFlight are also delivered. In this way you do not need to do all the programming in MobiFlight, but you will know how all the elements are connected in case you prefer to customize your installation.
Screen
Aspect ratio equal to the original for a faithful and realistic representation of the data that makes your Dashboard look very realistic.
The display kit includes the TTL controller and the necessary connection cable for remote control of the display from the MCDU.
You will receive your plate with the screen included, mounted and working, remember that it does not include the HDMI cable for connection to the computer.
